Bruce Hoyt

A native of Denver, Colorado, Bruce has enjoyed a long career in investment banking and community service.  He recently combined his business and community interests, leading the grant making and social impact investing efforts for Gary Community Investments, a large private foundation serving low income children and their families.  Beginning in January of 2020, Bruce joined indieDwell, an early stage public benefit corporation seeking to revolutionize the way affordable housing is produced and delivered in the U.S.

Prior to joining the foundation, Bruce specialized in mergers and acquisitions, representing middle market companies seeking to sell or acquire other firms.  He was co-founder of St. Charles Capital, the leading investment bank in Colorado, which was sold to KPMG in 2014.

Bruce has helped found two non-profits and has served on numerous non-profit boards including an eight year stint as an elected member of the Denver Public School Board, Mile High United Way and the Data Quality Campaign.

He is a former Peace Corps volunteer and attended Northwestern University as well as Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
